NEWARK, January 19th, 2021 Nonprofit social startup digitalundivided announces new fellowship program to support Latina and Black women founders in 2021.

Since 2012, digitalundivided has been at the forefront of inclusive innovation, supporting the economic growth of Latina and Black women communities through women entrepreneurs as the first organization to spearhead research and data collection on Latina and Black women founders.

In 2020, as a response to the onslaught of the global pandemic, digitalundivided began the critical work of providing direct and unrestricted economic support to women of color founders in its community with micro-investment initiatives. After funding over 1500 women entrepreneurs, the organization is evolving its efforts by launching the Do You Fellowship.

“2020 was a year of critical challenges, but also impactful triumphs for digitalundivided. We're excited to continue the work of advocating for Latina and Black women in innovation with this fellowship program that will poise high-potential founders for growth,” says Lauren Maillian, CEO.

The Do You Fellowship Program will award a select group of promising Latina and Black women innovators with a $5,000 investment in their business and access to unparalleled resources and mentorship necessary to develop their businesses. The one year program will provide fellows with professional development, business development, and opportunities to connect and collaborate with a powerful community of founders. Fellows will receive business support services from industry experts across functions like marketing, finance, business development, and more.

Applications for the Do You Fellowship will open in February 2021. Click here to be the first to know when applications open.
