Montana Native American Business Advisor Program

Overview: Montana’s Native American Business Advisor program is one of four small business grant programs currently supporting tribal businesses throughout the state. The program aims to help aspiring indigenous entrepreneurs by providing expert guidance, mentorship, and resources throughout the startup process.

Sponsor: Commerce’s Office of Indian Country Economic Development.

Award: $160,000 in total funding

Deadline: October 16, 2023

Eligibility:

  • Funds are available to Native American community-based organizations, tribal colleges, and tribal government organizations that support private-sector business development on reservations and in tribal communities.

Amber Grant

Overview: The grant was set up with one goal in mind: to honor the memory of a very special young woman, Amber Wigdahl, who died at just 19 years old — before realizing her business dreams. Amber Grant aims to recognize women-owned businesses and encourage them to continue excelling.

Sponsor: WomensNet

Award: $30,000 in total funding per month

Deadline: October 30, 2023

Eligibility:

  • Must identify as a woman

  • Must be a current business owner

  • Applicants should be located in the U.S.

The Atomic Grant program

Overview: The program targets women business owners looking for support in bringing their passion to life and receiving.

Sponsor: Keystone Group International and Passion Collective

Award: $1,500

Eligibility:

  • Applicant should identify as a woman

  • Age of applicant needs to be. 21+

  • You can live anywhere in the world — as long as you have a way to receive the money digitally, and you are connected via email and social media

The BGV Pitch Program

Overview: Each founder has 3 minutes to pitch and a 3-minute Q&A with the audience. Funding is democratized by allowing the audience to vote with their dollars using the Raisify platform for the founders whose pitch they favor.

Sponsor: Black Girl Ventures

Award: 1st place winner receives $10,000 in addition to other benefits.

Deadline: Applications are now being accepted for the spring program

Eligibility:

  • Must identify as a woman

  • Must be in business for at least a year and be revenue-generating

  • 51% owned by Black/Brown women founder(s)

The Freed Fellowship

Overview: The program is awarding a small business owner, a woman, or a person of color a monthly micro-grant to help them get the resources, mentorship, and community they need to build successful companies that make an impact.

Sponsor: Andy Louis-Charles

Award: Awardees receive a $500 micro-grant each month and are also eligible for a $2,500 annual grant

Deadline: Applications are accepted on a. rolling basis

Eligibility:

  • Must be a woman or. person of color business owner

  • Applicants should be located in the U.S.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses

Overview: The program is helping small businesses grow and create jobs by providing them with greater access to capital, business support, and education across areas such as financial statements, negotiation, marketing, and employee management so that entrepreneurs can create jobs and economic opportunities.

Award: Non-monetary

Eligibility:

StartHER Grant

Overview: The CWE’s StartHER Grant Program helps women business owners — current or aspiring — to undertake new and innovative projects.

Sponsor: Texas Woman’s University’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs

Award: $5,000

Deadline: October 22, 2023

Eligibility:

  • Business owners (or aspiring business owners)

  • Companies with five employees or fewer

  • At least 51% owned by one or more women
