NEWARK, NJ. July 13, 2020. digitalundivided, the nonprofit social startup that leverages data and advocacy to catalyze economic growth and create pathways for Black and Latinx women entrepreneurs, launches an exclusive photo docuseries titled “Founders Out Front” to celebrate the resiliency and innovation of female founders.

Founders Out Front is a visual experience commemorating the strength, tenacity, and ingenuity exemplified by Black and Latinx women entrepreneurs every day. 2020 has been a year of many trials, yet women of color continue to adapt and innovate to meet these challenges.

“With the global pandemic leaving many in a state of doubt and uncertainty, we saw an opportunity to provide a source of hope and inspiration to a community of founders that is often overlooked,” stated Christina Brown, Director of Communications at digitalundivided.

“The ‘Founders Out Front’ campaign was our way of shifting the narrative and showcasing the ever present strength, tenacity and ingenuity Black and Latinx women founders are exemplifying during this time.”

The series documents the journeys of five founders whom quickly shifted their team workflows and businesses in real time during COVID-19. Featured are women of all industries including beauty co-founder Amanda Johnson of Mented Cosmetics, Savonne Anderson of Aya Paper Co, tech founder Karen Rios of Lifesaver, agency founder and digitalundivided program alum Kelechi Anyadiegwu, and retail space owner Cyndi Ramirez of Chillhouse.
